Ruth Hanna Scholarship Fund

The St. Louis ACIM Council (Council) is committed to building community among ACIM students. The Council organizes local and national speaker events to create those opportunities. We recognize that certain members of the ACIM community may be in need of financial support to be able to participate in fee-based speaker events. Therefore, the Ruth Hanna Scholarship Fund was created in 2009, in order to provide financial support on a per event basis. Ruth Hanna was the foremost leader of ACIM in St. Louis during the 80’s and 90’s. She taught ACIM through a continuing education course at Maryville University, she wrote a monthly column on ACIM for Spirit Seeker magazine, and she organized numerous spiritual speaker events featuring respected teachers such as Ram Dass, Robert Perry, Brent Haskell, and Pat Rodegast (Emmanuel) to name a few. Ruth graciously transitioned from this world in 2007.

The Ruth Hanna Scholarship Fund is funded through donations from local ACIM students and the St. Louis ACIM Council. The amount of scholarship funds available will vary depending requests received and the fund balance. Local Course students are given first consideration for scholarships.

Scholarship applications are accepted for one-day events and the annual weekend retreat.  Applicants will be directed to the scholarship application form as part of the registration process.
